Product Description:

The new cobra plus 2 t is made of polypropylene monofilaments braided into a hollow rope with a diameter of 14 mm and has a tensile strength of 3.45 t. The 8-fold braiding of 3 yarns allows for an unproblematic insertion of expanding insert and shock absorber. Also the manual preparation of the quick splice is very easy - without any tools. The initial tensile strength of the system is 3.0 t.

The cobra plus 2 t hollow rope has an ultimate ductile yield of 17 % and a service ductile yield between 3 - 9 %.

The polypropylene monofilaments are extremely resistant to environmental influences and therefore have an excellent durability - they lose less than 2 % of their tensile strength per year of service. That is why the cobra plus 2 t system is extremely long-lived and can reliably protect a tree from damage for a period of 12 years.

cobra ultrastatic is made of Dyneema braided into a hollow rope with a diameter of 10 mm and has a tensile strength of 9.0 t. The 12-fold braiding of one yarn allows for an unproblematic preparation of the quick splice - without any tools. The initial tensile strength of the system is 7.0 t.

The cobra ultrastatic hollow rope has an ultimate ductile yield of only 2 % and characteristics that are similar to those of a steel rope. With only 46 g per meter, however, cobra ultrastatic has an enormous weight advantage.

cobra ultrastatic was specifically developed for use as static breaking-bracing or as load/support-bracing and is also suitable as replacement for old steel-rope bracings.

According to 'ZTV Baumpflege 2006' (German Tree Care Standard), cobra ultrastatic is to be classified as a 4-t system and therefore can also be used as static breaking-bracing or as load/support-bracing for branches/stems with a diameter of up to 40 cm.
